The toughest part of this project is figuring out how many crystals you will need for each color! Alternate 3 colors and two sizes of top drilled crystals to make this bracelet.
To keep the crystals from sliding to the bottom side of my wrist, I use a trigger clasp and extension chain so that I can keep it fairly snug when I wear it.
Materials:
3 8mm topdrilled bicones - color 1
3 8mm topdrilled bicones - color 2
3 8mm topdrilled bicones - color 3
6 6mm topdrilled bicones - color 1
6 6mm topdrilled bicones - color 2
6 6mm topdrilled bicones - color 3
2 2 X 24mm curved tubes (silver or gold filled)
4 3mm beads (silver or gold filled)
1 trigger clasp w/ring
1" (depending on wrist size) cable chain
2 crimps
2 crimp covers
1 4mm bicone
1 1" headpin
Directions:
1. Cut a piece of 49 strand jewelry wire and knot or tape off one end.
2. String a curved tube, a 3mm bead, and the crystals in the following order:
- 3 sets of 6mm crystals, alternating the 3 colors
- 3 sets of 8mm crustals, alternating the 3 colors
- 3 sets of 6mm crystals, alternating the 3 colors
3. Then finish stringing a 3mm bead, and a curved tube. Add a crimp, and a 3mm bead to one side. Loop the wire through the extension chain, and then back through the bead, crimp and tube. Crimp, and add a crimp cover.
4. Repeat step 3 for the other side, looping the wire through a soldered jump ring or split ring attached to the clasp before crimping.
Attach a 4 mm bicone to the end of the chain using a head pin and making a wrapped loop around the end link to secure it.
