Criss Cross Bracelet
This stringing project can be done with any combination of beads. The directions below use pearls and crystals, but you can substitute as you choose. Materials: .012 beading wire 2mm sterling silver brite beads 4mm bicone crystals 6mm round pearls 1 3mm sterling silver bead 1 3mm sterling silver crimp cover 1 2mm crimp tube Clasp 1. Determine the length of wire you will need: length of finished bracelet X 4 2. Locate the center point of the wire, and string on 1 end of the clasp to this point. 3. Double the wire, then string 1 3mm silver bead and 1 4mm crystal through BOTH wires. 4. Separate the wires. String 1 2mm bead, 1 bicone, and 1 2mm bead on the first wire. 5. String 1 2mm bead, 1 bicone, 1 2mm bead and 1 pearl on the 2nd wire. Then thread the 2nd wire through the pearl from step 4 going in the opposite direction. (see diagram) ![]() 6. String 1 2mm bead, 1 4mm crystal, 1 2mm bead and a pearl on the first wire. 7. String 1 2mm bead, 1 4mm crystal, 1 2mm bead on the 2nd wire. Then thread the 2nd wire through the pearl from step 6. 8. Repeat step 6 & 7 until you reach the appropriate length. (19 - 20 pearls yields a 7" bracelet). 9. String 1 2mm bead, 1 crystal, 1 2mm bead, and 1 crystal on the 1st wire. 10. String 1 2mm bead, 1 crystal, 1 2mm bead on the 2nd wire. Then thread the 2nd wire through the last crystal from step 9. ![]() 11. String both wires through the crimp, then loop through clasp and back through crimp and crystal. 12. Crimp and add a crimp cover. Trim the excess wire, and enjoy your new braclet!
